A small, tasty, and healthy snack for those tiny hands :)

We all know the feeling when we are heading out for a walk, or outing and we’re trying to sort out a little snack for the little one. These tasty crackers will be ready in a few minutes.

Yummy Crackers recipe:

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

250 g spelt flour, phosphorus-free baking powder, a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, 150 ml lukewarm water, and 50 ml vegetable oil. Your little helper can assist in pouring the ingredients, don’t worry about spills, these things happen :).

Mix the ingredients (in a bowl or use a food processor with the kneading attachment).

Roll out your dough to approximately 3-5 mm thickness. Your little helper will be delighted to get involved.

Apply egg wash to your dough and now for the best part – the toppings! You can get as creative as you like here and use all your favourite ingredients (we used a range of seeds). Don’t worry about a little mess, it’s easily cleaned :-).

Cut your dough partially into desired shapes and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, checking regularly, so they don’t burn.

When finished, allow to cool, and enjoy!
