Yummy crackers :)
A small, tasty, and healthy snack for those tiny hands :)
We all know the feeling when we are heading out for a walk, or outing and we’re trying to sort out a little snack for the little one. These tasty crackers will be ready in a few minutes.
Yummy Crackers recipe:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
250 g spelt flour, phosphorus-free baking powder, a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, 150 ml lukewarm water, and 50 ml vegetable oil. Your little helper can assist in pouring the ingredients, don’t worry about spills, these things happen :).
Mix the ingredients (in a bowl or use a food processor with the kneading attachment).
Roll out your dough to approximately 3-5 mm thickness. Your little helper will be delighted to get involved.
Apply egg wash to your dough and now for the best part – the toppings! You can get as creative as you like here and use all your favourite ingredients (we used a range of seeds). Don’t worry about a little mess, it’s easily cleaned :-).
Cut your dough partially into desired shapes and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, checking regularly, so they don’t burn.
When finished, allow to cool, and enjoy!
A tasty treat for children and adults!
